There are many, many factors that influence car insurance prices. The most common ones include:
- Marital status
- Years of driving experience
- Credit history (in some states)
- Caims history
- The car you drive
- How much you use your car
- The type and amount of coverage you buy

How can I be covered to drive a car that I don't own?
I live with my friend and her husband, and they will let me drive their extra car whenever I like. But they don't want to add me to their policy since it will be expensive. Since I can't get insurance on their car under my name, what should I do?

Do I need to call the other driver's insurance adjuster to give a statement after a collision?
"My parents and I were in an accident; we're not at fault. We did go to the hospital with minor injuries. Our adjuster told me that I need to call the other driver's adjuster to give a statement. He also said to file a claim with their insurance for medical. Is this normal? "
