What damage does homeowners insurance cover after a windstorm?

Would our insurance cover damage on my property caused by a windstorm? My fence is broken and a swing set we had is also damaged.

“Both forms of homeowners insurance consider windstorms or hail a covered peril. Since your fence was damaged by the windstorm, you’d be able to submit a claim to your insurance.
You may also be able to submit a claim for your swing set, but it might be harder to get coverage for it. You’ll need to find out whether your insurance company would classify it as another structure or personal property.
You will either receive actual cash value or replacement cost for the damages done to the fence and swing set, if covered. Actual cash value will be the items’ worth minus depreciation.
Replacement cost does not include depreciation.
An agent with your insurance company will be able to provide you with the necessary information to file a claim as well as your policy conditions.”
