What credit score will get me a car loan?

I’m in the market for a new car, but I don’t have much credit history because I’m a college student, and my credit score isn’t that great. What credit score will get me a car loan?

Being approved for a
car loan
as a college student without much credit history or a poor credit score can be challenging, but a credit score of 661 or higher can easily get you approved for a car loan.
However, if your credit score is below 661, you can still be approved if you have a cosigner or use a lender who specializes in offering loans for those with poor or no credit.
Additionally, some lenders may be more understanding of your situation because you’re a college student, so it is wise to shop around to find a lender who’s willing to work with you and compare offers from a few lenders to find the best rate.
Once you’ve found a lender and the vehicle you want to purchase, you’ll need a
car insurance
policy that has
comprehensive
and
collision
coverage.
