What company has the best rates for drivers over 65?
Is there a company that's recommended for older drivers? My mom is looking for new insurance. She isn't happy with her current rate.
“Your mom’s rate has likely begun to increase due to her age. Drivers over the age of 65 tend to have higher rates than a driver in their 50s.
Since your mom isn’t happy with her current rate, she should compare rates with various carriers.
There are a lot of factors that go into determining rates for an insured, so there isn’t one company that’s guaranteed to have a lower rate. She’ll need to request quotes from a variety of carriers to see who can offer her the best rate.
Although it isn’t guaranteed it’ll be the best rate for her, your mom should also look into AARP. It is an association for retired individuals, so she may find a more favorable rate through them.”
