What car was Tiger Woods driving when he crashed?

I’ve been hoping that Tiger will be back on the PGA Tour soon, given that his crash was a little over a year ago. Honestly, I’m just glad that his injuries weren’t worse, especially seeing the damage done to his car. Do you know what kind of car he was driving when it happened?

For sure, it was a pretty scary crash. Thankfully, Tiger was driving an excellent car when it happened: a Genesis GV80, a luxury vehicle made by
Hyundai
.
The GV80 has a perfect 10/10 from Car and Driver and a five-star safety rating from the NHTSA. If it weren’t for the perfectly designed crumple-zones in the crossover and the 10-airbag system installed in the car, his injuries might have been a lot worse—so it’s a good thing he was in such a sturdy crossover.
In case you didn’t hear the news, Tiger just played an 18-hole practice round at Augusta, so he might be returning to the links before we know it!
