What brand and type is a Corvette C7 OEM battery?
Last weekend, I bought a used Corvette at a dealer’s lot. It needs a new battery, but I can’t tell whether it has the original battery or not. What brand is a Corvette C7 OEM battery?

Great question! Your Corvette C7 OEM battery was probably an AC Delco.
The Corvette owner’s manual states that owners should “refer to the replacement number on the original battery” when replacing a battery, which is nice but of little use if you’re not sure whether the battery is an OEM.
You may find your answer on Corvette owner discussion boards. If you peruse them, you’ll find that AC Delco comes highly recommended, as do Duralast batteries.
