What are the trim levels for a Subaru Outback?

I’ve been trying to decide between a few different SUVs for a while and finally settled on the Subaru Outback. I know that the car has a lot of different trim options, and I’m wondering which ones are worth considering.

As if deciding on a car isn’t hard enough! The trim levels for a Subaru Outback are the Base, Premium, Limited, Touring, Onyx Edition XT, Limited XT, Touring XT, and Wilderness. Although the Outback is usually considered a practical car, the many trims it offers makes it a much more versatile choice.
In total, there are eight trim options available for the 2022 Subaru Outback. Here are the highlights for each:
  • Base: Includes EyeSight safety technology and infotainment options that will link to whatever device you have.
  • Premium: This trim adds fog lights, heated front seats, and dual-zone climate control to the mix!
  • Limited: This trim adds on interior upgrades, like leather-trimmed upholstery, and 18-inch alloy wheels to enhance your driving experience.
  • Touring: With a moonroof and a heated steering wheel included, this trim will have you driving in comfort!
  • Onyx Edition XT: The most affordable of the XT trims, this trim adds a turbocharged, 260-horsepower engine to the standard Outback model.
  • Limited XT: This trim includes the 260-horsepower engine and improves the interior and adds infotainment features.
  • Touring XT: The most luxurious of the XT trims, the Touring XT comes with the upgraded engine and interior, and a ton of additional features.
  • Wilderness: Dreams of off-roading in your new Subaru? This trim includes off-road features like higher suspension.
