What are the national parks in Texas?

Does Texas have any national parks? I want to go hiking now that the weather is getting warmer but I don’t know where to go!

Lucky for you, there are two national parks located in
Texas
: Big Bend National Park and Guadalupe Mountains National Park.
Big Bend is located in southwest Texas and is home to the Chisos mountain range as well as a large portion of the Chihuahuan Desert. It is also a very interesting location from a historical perspective due to the evidence of native peoples who either lived in or passed through the area many years ago.
Guadalupe Mountains National Park is located in western Texas and is home to four of the highest points in the state. It’s also the site of the world’s most extensive Permian fossil reef, so it’s a great place to visit if you’re interested in natural history and wildlife.
If you’re planning a road trip to either (or both!) of these national parks, check out the
