My sister and I are planning a road trip this summer around our home state of New Jersey, but we’re tired of typical tourist stuff like beaches and fancy restaurants. What are some different places to visit?

Lucy the Elephant—Margate City, NJ. Originally built in 1881 as a real-estate gimmick, this six-story high pachyderm is now considered a national historic landmark.
