What are the features of a Toyota FJ Cruiser’s interior?
My uncle is giving me his used Toyota FJ Cruiser. He lives out west and I’ve never seen this SUV before, but I can’t complain about a free car. But it’s from 2014. So will it have an infotainment screen? What can you tell me about the Toyota FJ Cruiser’s interior?

The Toyota FJ Cruiser’s interior is designed for outdoor lifestyles, not commuter driving or road trips. The interior is armored in heavy duty plastic, rubber, and water-resistant fabrics, and has a dated—but definitely replaceable—head unit, rather than a modern infotainment screen.
The front seats are comfortable, but the rear seats are better suited for storing camping gear than transporting the campers themselves. It can feel cramped for most passengers, and tall people will want to ride up front.
The cargo space is also a little cramped compared to most midsize SUVs, with 27.9 cubic feet of storage, or 66.8 with the back seats down. The tailgate can be a little frustrating to open, too, given the placement of the spare tire.
In all, the Toyota FJ Cruiser’s interior is functional, simple, and a bit dated. But those complaints will go right out the window once you take this monster offroad, where it belongs.
