What are the different Chevy truck bed sizes?

I’m on the hunt for a new truck, and I really like the ones made by Chevrolet. I tend to haul a lot of tools and equipment with me wherever I go, so I need something with a decent bed size. What are the different Chevy truck bed sizes?

Chevrolet
is a great choice for a new truck; no one combines luxury and practicality quite like they do.
All truck beds come in three standard sizes: short, standard, and long. Their specific lengths are:
  • Short: 5 feet 8 inches long
  • Standard: 6 feet 5 inches long
  • Long: 8 feet long
As a general rule of thumb, most truck beds are four feet in width.
Chevy’s two main models of truck, the Colorado and
Silverado
, are available in short, standard, and long lengths. Prices of each vary depending on the size. But, as a whole, the Silverado will cost you a little more money than the Colorado.**
Did you know that the Chevrolet Silverado 1500 LTZ is
the most expensive truck to insure
? It comes with a lot of bells and whistles, but not without extra cost to insure.
