What are the best tires on the market for a Subaru Impreza?
As of two days ago, I’m the proud owner of a Subaru Impreza. So far I love this car, but I want to learn how to prepare for future upkeep. So my question is, what are the best tires for my Subaru Impreza?

! This is a truly excellent sedan—reliable, durable, fun to drive, and surprisingly surefooted in the snow.It’s difficult to say which brand of tires are best objectively. But here are a few leading suggestions you’ll frequently hear mentioned by Impreza owners:
- Pirelli P4 Four Seasons (all-season)
- Continental ContiProContact TX (all-season)
- Falken Ziex (all-season)
- Michelin Defender T+H (all-season)
- Goodyear Assurance MaxLife (all-season)
- Bridgestone Potenza (sport/ performance)
- Bridgestone Blizzak (snow)
- Continental Viking Contact7 (snow)
You won’t really go wrong with any of those options on your Subaru Impreza. They’re all offered by renowned tire manufacturers, they all have options that will fit your Impreza, and they should all last a good long time too.
As for the correct size of tire, the stock tires your car came with will vary on size based on which model you have:
- 2021 Impreza Premium: 205/55R16 89V
- 2021 Impreza Limited: 205/50R17 89V
- 2021 Impreza Sport: 225/40R18 88V
Keep in mind that this car has a symmetrical all-wheel drive (AWD) system. Unfortunately, that means you’ll need to replace all four wheels at once, even if some aren’t too worn.
