What are the best things to do in Yosemite?
One of my bucket-list goals is to visit every national park in the country. I’m going to visit several in close proximity to each other this summer, so I’m going to spend a few days at Yosemite. What are some of the best things to do while I’m visiting Yosemite?

. Each year, 4 million tourists explore the park, but a vast majority stay within the confines of the 7-square-mile Yosemite Valley. This is probably the best place to spend your time. Once you arrive, here are some of the best things to do in Yosemite:- Marvel at the epic Half Dome. As the name implies, Half Dome is a rock formation that looks like a dome that’s half-collapsed. Rising over 4,700 feet from the valley below, it’s a sight you have to see to believe. If you’re feeling adventurous, take the Cable Route to the top for a stunning view.
- Walk through the sequoia trees. While Sequoia National Park has the famed General Sherman, the sequoia forest in Yosemite is equally as impressive. Newly renovated boardwalks allow you to traverse the forest while trying to comprehend the 200-foot size of these giants.
- Go rock climbing. Whether you’re a novice or an expert, Yosemite offers plenty of opportunities to test your grip on the rocks. The park also has classes for newbies. Book early, as these tend to fill up quickly during the summer.
