What are the best things to do in Flagstaff?
I’ve lived in Phoenix for about a year and explored a ton of it. But all of my friends rave about how awesome Flagstaff is, so I’m going to take a week to check it out. What are some fun things to do while I’m in Flagstaff?

- Go stargazing at the Lowell Observatory. Founded in 1894, this observatory is one of the oldest in the country. For $25, you can explore nebulas, distant stars, and planets through six state-of-the-art telescopes.
- Hike Walnut Canyon National Monument. Located about 10 miles southeast of downtown Flagstaff, this canyon features a 350-foot canyon with majestic views and beautiful flora and fauna.
- Explore the Museum of Northern Arizona. If you’re a history buff, this museum should satisfy your curiosity about the past of the area. Exhibitions include fossils, Native American jewelry, and archaeological findings. Admission is $15.
