I’m bringing my mom to the Everglades for her birthday. She’s super active and loves nature and being outside, but I’ve never been to the Everglades before so I’m not sure what we’ll be doing there! What are some of the best things to do in Everglades National Park?

- Bike the Shark Valley Road
- Take a guided canoe tour
- Hike the Anhinga Trail (you might see an alligator!)
- Take a ride in an airboat
- Go for a kayak ride
Shark Valley is a must-see (as many rangers will probably tell you), but there are also tons of guided tours, events, and classes in the Everglades. Once you arrive, head to a nature center to learn more about the options available to you at the time of your trip!
