What are the best things to do in Colorado Springs?

I’m spending the night in Colorado Springs on a road trip this summer and I’m planning to spend a day there to break up the drive. What are some fun things to do in Colorado Springs?

The best thing to do in
Colorado Springs
 is to visit the Garden of the Gods. This park offers beautiful hiking trails, Jeep and segway tours, horseback riding, biking, and rock climbing, as well as little cafes and gift shops.
If you’re not into exploring the natural world, there are plenty of museums to explore instead! Some crowd favorites include:
  • The Pioneers Museum
  • The Ghost Town Museum
  • Penrose Heritage Museum
These museums will provide you with a history lesson, a chance to stretch your legs without overexerting yourself, and a break from the open road—making them a great option for your pit stop!
