stay safe while driving in the snow
. A brand-new set of tires might not be cheap, but you’ll be glad to have them when all that snow comes around. Here are some great winter tire options for your Mini:- MINI Original Cold Weather tires: MINI makes a bunch of different models of cold weather tires for any of its models. You can order them online and pick them up at a dealership.
- Bridgestone Blizzak LM-60 RFT: Bridgestone’s most popular winter tire has a long-lasting tread with patterns designed to improve friction with the road and traction to reduce the risk of hydroplaning.
- Pirelli Winter Sottozero Serie II: These are particularly expensive, but they have excellent traction and flexibility and a beautifully comfortable ride.
- Michelin Pilot Alpin PA3: These are much more affordable but no less dependable. They also come with a 30,000-mile treadwear warranty, which is much higher than what many snow tires offer.
