What are the best snow chains for the Tesla Model Y?

I’ve owned a Tesla Model Y for a few years, but I just moved to a rural, mountainous area of Montana. I’ve never seen so much snow, and the locals warned me that the roads around town don’t get plowed that often. As such, I need to get a set of snow chains—what snow chains are best for a Model Y?

With all-wheel drive, the Tesla Model Y is surprisingly nimble on snow and ice—but only if you have the right tires for snow and a good set of snow chains. According to the official Tesla shop, the best snow chains for the model Y are either Konig XG-12 Pro 252s or Konig K-Summit XXL K66s.
The XG-12 Pros are ideal for 19- or 20-inch tires, while the K-Summit XXLs are ideal for 21-inch Tesla Model Y tires. Both are easy to put on in just minutes, provide superior traction, and are much quieter than other types of snow chains on the market today.
Note that you should only install snow chains on the rear tires of the Tesla Model Y, and only if you have 19- or 20-inch tires. Installing snow chains on any other tire size can cause significant cosmetic or mechanical damage, so don’t tempt fate!
