I live in Ohio and out of spite for the Ohio State-Michigan rivalry, I’ve never explored Michigan. Now that I’ve grown up a bit—although I still bleed red and white—I want to see what Michigan has to offer. What are some of the best road trip destinations in Michigan?

- Sleeping Bear Dunes: This small section along Lake Michigan has some of the largest sand dunes outside of a desert setting, making it a must-see. Go dune buggying, enjoy a sunset, or try boarding down the dunes. You won’t be disappointed.
