I just moved to California for work and I’m loving it so far. I want to get out of my home and office and just drive, but I’m just not sure where to go. What are some of the best road trip destinations in California?

are up for debate, you can still see quite a bit if you choose a single region and go from there. But to make your decision easier, here are some of the best road trip destinations in California:- Napa Valley: While wines are always on tap during a trip to Napa Valley, it’s also filled with quaint shops, amazing scenery, and interesting people from all over the world. Even though you’re going on a road trip, consider taking a day off to ride around on the train.
- Sequoia National Park: Sequoia National Park is something you have to see to believe. In this one small section of California, you can see sequoia trees, which are the biggest in the world. Make sure you see General Sherman, which is the largest tree in the world, measuring 275 feet high and 36 feet in diameter.
- Take the California section of Route 66: Getting your kicks on Route 66 is just part of an epic California road trip. Along this portion of the famed American highway, you can see Santa Monica Pier, explore Amboy Crater, or try one of 700 soda flavors at Galco’s Soda Pop Stop.
