I have to move to Arizona for work and expect to live in the area long-term. While I’m excited to finally buy a house and start settling down, I know nothing about the area and need to make a decision soon. What are some of the best places to live in Tempe?

is a fantastic place to live and has many great neighborhoods to choose from. Here are some of the most desirable neighborhoods in Tempe: - Lakes—Suburban area with shopping, walking, and bike paths. There are many parks popular for anyone interested in outdoor recreation, including 125-acre Kiwanis Park.
- South Tempe—If you have the budget, South Tempe is known for luxury homes with larger lots. The area is also home to many business and technology headquarters in addition to a mix ofhiking trailsand lakes.
- McClintock—If you’re thinking about renting before buying, McClintock could be a good pitstop. You’ll get a mix of urban, suburban, and downtown living. Most residents rent their homes, which could also turn into a great investment venture.
- Downtown—Maybe not the best bet for settling down, per se, but this area of Tempe has plenty of hustle and bustle if that’s what you crave. Dining, nightlife, and businesses are abundant, as are museums, historic sites, and parks.
