What are the best places to live in Spokane?

Which parts of Spokane, WA are the best for outdoors-y people like me? I’m moving there for work and I’m really excited to live in the PNW, but I want to pick a good neighborhood for my new home.

There are tons of great places to live in
Spokane, WA
! Some of the best neighborhoods include:
  1. Manito-Cannon Hill
  2. North Indian Trail
  3. Lincoln Heights
  4. Rockwood
  5. Five Mile Prarie
Since you’re looking for outdoorsy-friendly locations within the city, you might especially focus on areas near the center of town or in the southern part of the city near Manito-Cannon Hill. If you’re willing to live near the outskirts of the city, however, you’ll find that Spokane is surrounded by forests on almost all sides.
