What are the best places to live in Salt Lake City?
I’m ready to move out West. After spending most of my life in the South, I want to join some of my peers in Utah. I’m thinking Salt Lake City would be the best fit, but I don’t know any of the neighborhoods. What are some of the best places to live in Salt Lake City?

- Downtown: Moving out West doesn’t mean you have to get rid of the big-city vibe, especially if you move to downtown SLC. Getting around is a breeze thanks to light rail, and the shops, bars, and restaurants provide endless entertainment options.
- Central City: Liberty Park and the beautiful Gilgal Sculpture Park are two of the city’s top attractions, located all within your backyard when you live in Central City. It’s also where many of the city’s international restaurants are, making it a foodie’s delight.
- Granary/Ballpark: Featuring old warehouses meticulously redesigned into craft breweries and gastropubs, Granary/Ballpark is quickly becoming one of the most popular areas in the city. It’s walkable, has plenty of shopping, and is also the home of the Salt Lake Bees — the AAA affiliate of the L.A. Dodgers.
