I lived in Providence for years. I rented, but I’m now ready to buy my own house. Homes in Providence are a tad too expensive, so I’m looking at Pawtucket. I just don’t know much about the different neighborhoods. What are some of the best places to live in Pawtucket?

Just 5 miles northeast of Providence, Pawtucket is an affordable suburb and the fifth-largest city in
Rhode Island
. It borders the scenic Seekonk River, is home to the Red Sox AAA team, and is a quintessentially New England town. If you’re searching for a home here, check out some of the best places to live in Pawtucket:- East Avenue: Although Providence is expensive, you may find upscale neighborhoods like East Avenue in Pawtucket more to your liking. This highly-educated neighborhood has plenty of upscale options if you’re looking for something a bit nicer.
- Pleasant View South: If you’re searching for something a little more affordable, Pleasant View South should meet your approval.
