What are the best places to live in Fort Worth?

I’ve lived in San Marcos for much of my life and I want to move somewhere with more going on. While I like Dallas, Fort Worth has more of that authentic Texas vibe, so tops my list. What are some of the best places to live in Fort Worth?

While
Dallas
is more modern, you’re right —
Fort Worth
definitely offers more Texas flair. Here are some of the best places to live in Fort Worth:
  • Westcliff: With a variety of midsize homes, Westcliff is perhaps one of the most affordable neighborhoods in Fort Worth. It’s nestled along TCU’s campus, giving you the opportunity to soak in the sights and sounds of college football Saturdays.
  • Arlington Heights: Located just 10 minutes away from downtown Fort Worth, Arlington Heights is a family-oriented community with low crime and plenty of single-family homes. It’s also home to the 252-acre Trinity Park, which affords opportunities to jog, play sports, or just get out of the house for a while.
  • Fairmount: Home to two dozen subdivisions for people of varying incomes, Fairmount is a proverbial melting pot within Fort Worth. With historical homes and adorable little bungalows, it’s the neighborhood for those who want that purely Texas vibe.
