While Chattanooga is a bit rough around the edges, I find it to be one of the more charming cities I’ve ever visited. I’m also growing bored with my job, so I figure it’s the best time to move. What are some of the best places to live in Chattanooga?

Chattanooga
has stayed relatively stagnant for the past decade or so, it’s one of the most intriguing cities in the South. Nestled at the foothills of the Smoky Mountains, it combines urban living with the outdoors, which is an awesome combo. If you’re looking to move, here are some of the best places to live in Chattanooga:- Northshore: Popular with young families, young professionals, and Millennials, Northshore is the hippest neighborhood in Chattanooga. Full of craft breweries, gastropubs, and nightlife, this is the place to go when you want to get out and about.
- Downtown: Home to the Riverfront District, AT&T Field, and loads of the city’s top attractions, downtown Chattanooga is proof that a downtown area can still be as vibrant as any. Apartments, condos, and townhomes are popular here, giving you a low entry point to home ownership.
- St. Elmo: With architecture dating back to the 1800s, St. Elmo is perhaps the most popular of the historic districts in Chattanooga. It features a little downtown area packed with restaurants and shops, as well as massive old homes that you can buy for under $400,000.
