I’m going to be starting school at the University of Michigan this coming fall and I’m hoping to live off-campus. What are some of the best places to live in Ann Arbor?

Ann Arbor
is a wonderful city and I’m happy to take a look at some of the best places to live there.Where you should live in Ann Arbor is going to depend on what you like to do and what responsibilities you have. If you need to commute to the University of Michigan’s campus, some areas to consider include:
- Burns Park
- Old West Side
- Elbel
If you live in any of the areas listed above, you’ll find yourself surrounded by students and with an easy commute to the school. Of course, if you’d rather avoid living amongst college students, you might instead consider a neighboring area.
Dexter and
Ypsilanti
are two smaller cities that neighbor Ann Arbor. Although living in either of these cities will allow you an easy commute, both are on the quiet side when compared to Ann Arbor itself.Once you’ve settled in after your move you should consider revisiting your car insurance coverage.
