Zion National Park has some spectacular hikes, and if you’re looking only to check out a few, you’ll have a challenging time choosing the best. It’s a haven of hiking trails beaming with jaw-dropping views. The best hikes in Zion National Park are:
- Angels Landing (5.4 miles, roundtrip)
- Emerald Pools Trail (1.2 to 2.5 miles)
- The Narrows (9.6 miles)
- Zion Canyon Overlook Trail (1 mile)
- The Watchman (2.7 miles)
Keep in mind that not all of the hikes in Zion National Park are easy. If you’re an avid outdoor enthusiast who loves to take on a hiking challenge, hit the Angels Landing trail or The Narrows.
Angels Landing is one of the most iconic trails in the park, and for the last half of your hike, you’ll pass along the narrow spine of a ridgeline where chains are bolted to the rocks to help hikers navigate by. But the hike is well worth it—at the top, you’ll find 360-degree views of the canyon below.
The Narrows is another famous hike in Zion National Park with two ways to hike it: bottom-up or top-down. Top-down is way more grueling and will take you a full day or overnight, whereas bottom-up, you can choose to complete as much as you want of the 16-mile trek.
