- Savannah Children’s Museum: This museum in Tricentennial Park is one of the top things to do in Savannah if you have kids. There are over a dozen exhibits, and it is fully outdoors.
- Forsyth Park: There are two kids’ playgrounds and sprinklers to run through on hot summer days. There is also a farmer’s market on Saturdays to grab some food for a picnic in the park.
- Savannah National Wildlife Refuge: There are over 30,000 acres of tidal freshwater marshes and creeks for families to explore. Try the self-guided Laurel Hill Wildlife Drive to spot the wildlife.
- Savannah’s Candy Kitchen: Visiting the candy kitchen is a classic activity in Savannah and shouldn’t be missed! Sample the city’s famous pralines and watch the train that runs around the ceiling.
- Leopold’s Ice Cream: No trip to Savannah is complete without Leopold’s Ice Cream. Grab a cone to walk around or dine in to try their famous sundaes.
