What are the best all-weather tires for snow in a Nissan Rogue?

We’re expected to get a big snowstorm next weekend, and I’m scrambling trying to get my car ready for it. I just got a Nissan Rogue recently, and I don’t know what kind of tires I’ll need to get for the snow. What are the best all-weather options?

Getting your car ready for those frigid wintery days requires a good set of
winter tires
—but if you don’t live where extreme winters are common, you can probably get by with a solid set of all-weather tires. These tires will be less heavy-duty than full snow tires but much more capable than your standard all-season tires.
The best all-weather tires for snow in a
Nissan Rogue
are Michelin CrossClimate SUV tires, which are some of the best all-season tires around. These tires are best in light
snow or ice
situations, gripping the road in either dry or wet conditions.
If your area gets more intense winter weather, though, you’ll want to check out tires made especially for snowy or icy surfaces. For Nissan Rogues, the Bridgestone Blizzak WS90s are an excellent choice due to their hydrophilic coating and increased traction.
If you go with winter tires, you’ll need to switch them out when the weather starts to warm up to prevent quicker wear. Unlike traditional snow tires, however, you can generally keep all-weather tires on even in the warmer months as long as you adjust the tire pressure for the season.
