What are some ways I can lower my Allstate car insurance?

I’m currently going to college and need to keep my expenses as low as possible. My car insurance is through Allstate, and I haven’t had any problems with them. But I would like to see if I can lower my premium a bit—are there any ways that I can lower my Allstate car insurance costs that aren’t too difficult?

We hear you—college may be some of the most fun years of your life, but they’re also the years where your wallet tends to be the thinnest! **You can lower the cost of your Allstate car insurance by getting good grades, raising your deductible, and enrolling in Allstate’s Drivewise program.
If you’re a full-time student under 25, keeping at least a B average can mean getting a discount on your car insurance costs. Lowering your deductible makes your premium cost less, but increases the amount that you’ll need to pay in the event of a claim—so proceed with caution with that option.
Allstate’s Drivewise program translates safe habits on the road to savings, and it’ll improve your driving habits to boot. And even though you’ve been happy with Allstate, you’d be surprised at the amount you can save when you do a little bit of comparison shopping!
