What are some unusual places to visit in Iowa?

I’ll be heading back to Iowa for the summer and I need something to keep me from getting bored. What’s some unusual stuff for me to go see over the break?

Iowa
has a lot more to see than just farms. To get you started, here are five of the most unusual places to visit in Iowa:
  • Galleria de Paco in
    Waterloo
—it’s the Sistine Chapel, but painted by a super-talented graffiti artist. And it’s a restaurant.
  • The Future Birthplace of Captain James T. Kirk in Riverside—Star Trek’s Captain Kirk is from Iowa. If you didn’t know, now you know.
  • The Hobo Museum in Britt—a whole museum dedicated to hobos.
  • The Ice Cave in
    Decorah
—This cave is naturally frozen year-round because it sits on a glacier.
You’re sure to have a great time checking out these unusual places throughout Iowa, but to be sure you don’t wind up stranded,
give your car a complete check-up
that includes a

policy review before you head out.
