actually doesn’t sound that bad! There are so many unusual places to visit in Mississippi
that you’ll stay busy all summer long. Here are a few:- Red water artesian well: This well pumps out water that’s safe to drink, but there’s a catch—it’s bright red thanks to its mineral content.
- Visit McRaven: McRaven is Mississippi’s most haunted house. There have been a lot of mishaps on this property, including murder.
- Visit Rodney: Rodney is a ghost town in Mississippi. The population declined due to economic troubles and disease starting in the 19th century.
- Fayette Frog Farm: This tribute to frogs is filled with folk art dedicated to—you guessed it—frogs. Check out the sculptures of frogs and other critters.
- Palestine Gardens: This miniature replica of the Holy Land attracts visitors every year. It features sculptures of Jerusalem and Bethlehem, among others.
