What are some of the common problems with the Kia Soul!?
My friend is moving overseas with her husband and she wants to get rid of her Kia Soul !. I was thinking about getting a new car anyway, and her Soul ! has low miles. I just want to make sure I’m not buying a dud. Are there any common problems with the Kia Soul!?

was the mid-level trim in the Soul lineup from 2010 to 2019, so if you can find one at a good price, you’ve done great! Like any used car
, there’s always a risk of issues. However, the Soul ! doesn’t have many documented problems. Here are some of the common problems with the Kia Soul !:- Oil leaks due to a faulty oil pan seal
- Failure of the catalytic converter due to overheating
- Poor shifting on the automatic transmission models
