What are some good snow tires to put on a Ford Focus?

I’ve moved to an area of the country that gets a decent amount of snow in the winter, which will be a new experience for me. I’m a little concerned as to how my car will do in the snow and ice and want to get some new tires. What are the best snow tires for a Ford Focus?

There are a lot of good brands of snow tires to choose from; popular choices include Goodyear Ice WRT and Bridgestone Blizzaks, and your local Ford dealership is also a good resource to ask about snow gear for your Focus.
Generally speaking the best snow tires for a Ford Focus will have a deep, aggressive tread pattern. This allows them to get good traction in ice and snow!
Additionally, a good set of snow tires should be made from rubber that stays soft in freezing temperatures. As a front-wheel drive car, the Focus should do fine in the snow when equipped with a good set of winter tires.
Don’t discount all-season tires, there are several all-season tires good for snow driving as well. Speaking with a tire specialist in your area that is familiar with the weather you have to drive in can help you narrow down the options.
Learning to drive in the snow can be nerve-wracking, but you’ll do just fine!
