But like with any used car, this SUV may have some issues. Here are some common FJ Cruiser problems:- Drivetrain vibration, which may require more frequent tire rotations
- Faulty driveshaft as a result of production errors (most common in the 2013 model)
- Sensors going bad more quickly than normal
- Constant illumination of the check engine light, although this is more common in models made before 2010
