What are some common problems with the Pontiac G6?

I used to own a Pontiac Grand Am in high school and it was my favorite car of all time. I was looking to buy one to drive on weekends, but I only found that it had somewhat recently been replaced by the G6. The looks and engine are pretty much the same, but I just want to make sure it doesn’t have any issues. What are some of the common problems that the Pontiac G6 has?

Any used car can come with its fair share of issues, but keeping an eye on these common problems with the Pontiac G6 can help you pinpoint them before they become catastrophic:
  • Failure of headlights, high beams, and brake lights due to a faulty body control module
  • Unresponsive power locks as a result of a faulty power lock mechanism
  • Grinding noises when turning related to a faulty power steering mechanism
Although the
Pontiac G6
isn’t the most reliable car you can buy, it still gets an above average 78 out of 100 reliability rating from J.D. Power & Associates. If you want to scoot around town like a G6 in your Pontiac G6, use the
