What are some common problems with the Lincoln MKS?
I’ve always wanted to buy a Lincoln, but I’m not sure if it stems from my youth or those relentless Matthew McConaughey commercials. Either way, I found a great deal online for a Lincoln MKS, but I want to make sure it’s a reliable car. Are there any common problems with the Lincoln MKS?

While newer models have fewer problems, watch out for some of these common problems on older models of the Lincoln MKS:
- AC fan and blower motor changing speeds on their own
- Trunk failing to latch
- Leaking of fluid from the axle area due to faulty seals
- Grinding noise coming from the brakes due to uneven brake pad and rotor wear
- Problems with the infotainment unit, which may be fixed by updating or reprogramming the software
