What are some car safety tools you should always have in your vehicle?

What safety tools should I have in my car? I already packed a car emergency kit, but I want to make sure I have the right tools as well because I often go off-roading in remote areas.

“If you want to add some car safety tools to your vehicle, you have plenty of options. These vary in price and usage, but if you have a number of them, you should be safer than other motorists on the road.
Some of the top options include:
  • ResQme keychain, which has both a seat belt cutter and a window breaker.
  • LifeHammer, which can help cut you free of wreckage.
  • Tire iron and jack so you can change a tire, especially if you’re in a remote area.
  • Deadman Earth Anchor, which acts as a winch and can pull your vehicle out of mud, sand, or water.
While it’s not a tool, you may also want to add
towing and labor coverage
to your
car insurance
policy to ensure you get roadside assistance when you need it most.
If you want industry-leading roadside assitance at the touch of a button, try Urgently,
Jerry’s
roadside assistance partner. Urgently offers tows, free rideshares as a result of tows, tire changes, and lockout services for only $50 a year.”
