The Jeep Renegade’s cargo box measures 37.6 inches wide at the wheelhouses and 40.1 inches wide at the beltline. The minimum height at the liftgate opening is 29 inches.
This translates to 18.5 cubic feet with the rear seats upright. If you fold the second-row seats down, you get 50.8 cubic feet of trunk storage.
Most people can easily fit mountain bikes, though you may wish to remove the front wheel for easier loading. If you’re bringing skis or a surfboard, you can use the folding front-passenger seat feature to slide them flat on the ground. Remember to load long items diagonally for the best fit.
Another option is a cargo box or gear rack. We recommend finding a skilled professional to help with installation. Otherwise, you risk damaging your precious Jeep.
