interior has a *maximum cargo capacity of 29.9 cubic feet with the rear seats folded, or 15.4 cubic feet with the back seats upright. But, the unusual curved roof that lends the Beetle its signature charm also makes it harder to fit larger items. So, if you’re moving a lot of boxes with you to college, you may be better off renting a U-Haul
. With the convertible, though, you’ll see a drastic reduction in cargo space down to just 7.2 cubic feet.
The Volkswagen Beetle is not only a visual delight, but something of an optical illusion. Although it may look a little small on the outside, the Volkswagen Beetle interior has a comfortable 85.1 cubic feet of total passenger space.
