What are a Mercury Mountaineer’s interior features?
I like the look of a Ford Explorer, but it’s a little out of my budget at the moment. I saw an older Mercury Mountaineer at a used car lot, and they look almost the same on the outside. Can you tell me about the Mercury Mountaineer interior?

The
Mercury Mountaineer
interior is fairly comparable to that of its cousin, the Ford Explorer
. So similar, in fact, that Ford eventually had to choose between the two, and the Explorer won out. But, unlike the Explorer, the Mercury Mountaineer interior is slightly more upscale and complete with a leather-wrapped steering wheel with audio controls, air conditioning, a power driver’s seat, and an aux cord for audio.
Upgrades set this one apart from an everyday car to something more lux. The premiere trim comes with:
- Moonroof
- Dual-zone climate control
- Backseat DVD entertainment
- Voice-activated navigation system
