What age would a vehicle qualify for classic car insurance?

Is there a certain age that a car is considered a classic? I am buying a 1991 Ferrari Testarossa and am wondering if it qualifies for classic car insurance.

“For classic car insurance, the age that vehicles qualify for insurance depends on the carrier.
Most companies consider a vehicle classic if it’s older than 25 years, but you’ll want to check with your company to confirm that.
If you currently have car insurance, you can inquire with them about their classic car insurance. There may also be other requirements, like:
  • usage limits
  • storage requirements
  • annual mileage limits
Since not every carrier offers classic car insurance, you may need to shop around to find the right policy for you.”
