, there is a wheel speed sensor recall. This voluntary service campaign is to inspect, clean, repair, or replace the rear wheel speed sensor on two-wheel-drive vehicles in some coastal states.
Once the manufacturer discovered that seawater could interrupt the sensor’s ability to relay information to the instrument cluster, they issued a Kia Sorento rear wheel speed sensor recall in 2017. Note that there have been no accidents or injuries due to this.
