Should I buy the GMC extended warranty?

I’m going to the dealership to buy a GMC Sierra 1500 this weekend, and I want to know beforehand all the add-ons I do and don’t want to get. Should I get the extended warranty, or is it not worth it?

Great idea—knowing ahead of time what you want to buy helps you stick to a budget and leave the car dealership with more money in your hands.
You should buy the
GMC
extended warranty if you are particularly concerned about facing repair costs for malfunctioning parts after your limited warranty runs out.
All new GMC vehicles come with a standard 3-year/36,000-mile limited warranty. The extended warranty covers you for 5 years/60,000 miles. That means that the extended warranty only gives you a couple more years of coverage than the standard—so it might not be worth the extra cost. And remember, a warranty only covers parts that malfunction under normal use. It won’t cover damages due to accidents, acts of God, or improper maintenance.
For more comprehensive coverage, you’ll need to have good
car insurance
. Luckily,

can help you find an affordable policy so you don’t break the bank getting protection for your GMC.
