Is tire spray paint durable?

Refreshing your tires sounds like a fun project! Tire spray paint can be very durable and last up to one year since it’s formulated to stick to rubber. The actual durability will depend on factors like wear and tear, weather elements, and how many layers of paint were applied.
Before you spray paint your tires, check the following list to ensure the tires are still road-safe:
- Check tire tread depth to ensure it has enough grip
- Check wear and tear to ensure the treads are even on each tire
- Check for any damage, including punctures, cracks, bumps, and bulges
- Check the tires’ age and change them if they’re 10 years old (or older!)
