Is there free parking at Los Angeles International Airport (LAX) for electric cars?

I’m flying out of LAX soon and I’d like to be able to park my car at the airport while I’m out of town. Is there free parking at LAX for electric cars?

If you’re just picking someone up, there is free parking at LAX in the cell phone lot whether you’re driving an
electric car
or gas-powered car. This is, however, only meant to be short-term parking for those waiting on a passenger. The maximum parking time is two hours.
For long-term parking, EVs are subject to the same parking rates as other cars, but electricity at charging stations is provided free of charge. All EV charging station spaces are available on a first-come, first-serve basis.
For more information about EV parking at LAX, visit the airport’s
website
or contact them directly.
