Is there an Audi e-tron battery upgrade?

I’m driving a slightly older Audi 50 Quattro e-tron. I really like the car, but I’ve heard that Audi has upgraded the battery on its e-tron lineup. Is it possible for me to put a more powerful battery in my Quattro?

If you’re driving an earlier
Audi e-tron
, you probably have the smaller (but still powerful) 71-kWh lithium-ion battery.
Audi
 has recently been including its even larger 95-kWh battery in the e-tron lineup, so you can get a more powerful battery to increase your driving range.
Keep in mind that your battery might be covered under Audi’s eight-year, 100,000-mile warranty against extreme battery degradation. Don’t worry if it’s not—you can still pay to upgrade the battery. However, it typically costs around $36,500 according to RepairPal.com.
Don’t forget to factor in labor costs, taxes, and fees!
