Is there a universal Subaru Crosstrek windshield wipers size?
I recently bought two Subarus, a 2018 Impreza and a 2021 Crosstrek. I read online that Subaru builds these cars on the same platform. So can I pull a wiper off my Impreza and use it on the Crosstrek until I get new wipers? Also, what’s the Subaru Crosstrek’s windshield wipers size?

! For most of Subaru’s models, windshield wiper sizes will vary from year to year, some models varying more than others. Depending on which windshield wiper your Crosstrek needs, you might be able to borrow one from your Impreza.The

however, and the early XV variety, all have the same universal windshield wiper sizes: 26” driver’s side, 16” passenger’s side, and 12” rear.That said, some Imprezas do match up with these sizes … but not yours, unfortunately. The 2012 through 2017 Imprezas all used the same 26”/ 16”/ 12” sizes, but from 2018 on, the passenger side wipers were 15”. So if you need either the driver or rear windshield wiper, you are good to go!
If you need the passenger side wiper, we’d recommend driving your Impreza until you can replace the damaged windshield wiper on your Crosstrek. It’s a fairly straightforward process and doing it at home can save you a lot of unnecessary labor costs.
