Is the Mazda 3 Sport AWD?

I want an affordable new car. After doing some research, the Mazda 3 Sport seems like it’s a good fit, but I’m not sure if it has an all-wheel-drive (AWD) option. Can I get AWD on the Mazda 3 Sport?

The
Mazda 3 Sport
is not AWD—unless you choose to upgrade. Front-wheel drive comes standard.
However, AWD is an option on every Mazda 3 trim except the base model. To add AWD, the price increase is $1,400, which is relatively affordable compared to other similar models.
The Mazda 3 Sport also uses Mazda’s proprietary i-ACTIV AWD technology. This works similarly to other AWD systems by distributing power to each wheel as necessary.
However, the i-ACTIV system also uses sensors that prevent crashes by detecting front-wheel slippage, as well as a Torque Control System to provide on-demand power to each wheel.
If you decide to buy the Mazda 3 Sport with AWD, make sure that you use the
